NCF has recently established the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund to support nonprofit organizations working on the frontlines to assist the most vulnerable populations affected by the pandemic. However, we are not the only fund active in the community. Two of the many other funds are:
- United Way of Southern Nevada’s (UWSN) Emergency Assistance and Community Needs Fund. The link also contains a number of useful resources for assistance, including an “asset map” pinpointing locations to get help.
- Three Square Food Bank created an emergency fund to support emergency food distribution sites and Clark County School District (CCSD) food sites, among other uses.
If you are a donor who is interested in supporting nonprofits organizations actively working to tackle the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak, please also consider donating to the organizations directly. More than ever, this is the time for us to come together as a community.
